It's not just a tagline...it's the truth! Lemonade is a one (young) woman operation run by Megan Burgess.

I began sewing when I was fifteen years old. As soon as I got past not being able to figure out the bobbin, I loved it! I began making small purses and then ventured into clothes. I quickly switched back to handbags and other small accessories 

In January 2006, I opened a shop on Etsy. After nearly three years and  over 500 sales, I decided that it was

time to branch out on my own. You're visiting that branch right now!

I'm drawn to all things retro and vintage (and vintage inspired.) I like bright colors as well as neutrals. I like small, simple, and useful. I'm inspired by pop culture.
